Snowboard uphill with a helicopter // Clemens Millauer
Do you know the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl? It is one of the biggest snowparks in Austria and always a meeting point for the world’s best snowboarders and freestylers, who train on the rails and kickers for the international contests.
One of them is also Clemens Millauer: The native Upper Austrian lives with Olympic champion Anna Gasser in Carinthia – but in winter they set up their ‘living room’ in Absolut Park to prepare for the competitions. Exactly there was also the location for his very special “One-eigthy”, with which he created his very own Snowboard-Challenge. “It worked really really well. We moved at the limit, but we definitely didn’t fake anything,” emphasizes Clemens Millauer. “And, of course, there were some good slams in there, too.”

“Honestly, ‘Snowboarding Reverse’ is something I will never forget in my life. The whole project was certainly an experience of a lifetime.”

Experience a sightseeing tour like never before. Wakeboarding in the best city to visit in 2020: Salzburg, Austria! Wakeboard pro Dom Hernler explores Salzburg from a different perspective than what most people are used to. Dom Hernler takes you to places where nobody would expect someone wakeboarding, like Schloss Hellbrunn, Schloss Leopoldskron (where the classic movie Sound Of Music was filmed) or the Mirabell Gardens, turning them all into a wakeboarding park. Dom Hernler was also the first athlete ever to be towed by the panorama speed boat “Amadeus Salzburg”.
